The first two rounds of the 750MC M3 Cup Championship happened this weekend at Oulton Park!
ME7 spent the weekend seeing Adam Shepherd on top form for his return back to the Championship.
Saturday morning was qualifying where Adam took pole position with a 1:58.76 with 1.11 second gap behind Luke Sedzikowski. A great start considering this was Adam's first outing on the UK's most picturesque and daring circuits.
A few hours later and typical unpredictable weather, Adam nursed his car with it's wet weather set up on dry tyres to pole position in the first Round with the best lap of 1.54.84 and 4.44 second gap between second place competitor Simon Walker-Hansell.
With high hopes and improved weather, Round 2 has begun; with the car set up correctly, Adam is back on pole now with being challenged by Simon Walker-Hansell moving to the first place. Within a few corners later, Adam fights back for the lead where he stays for the rest of the duration of the race where lap record is smashed with a 1:52.76 and 10.60 gap from second place!
The next race will be at Snetterton 300 on the 22nd April for Rounds 3 & 4.
